ReDirect ("we", "us") is an iOS app that lets parents gate apps on a child's iPhone behind short reading sessions. By using ReDirect you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the app.
ReDirect is set up and controlled by a parent or legal guardian. A child uses the app only on a device the parent has connected using a pairing code generated in the parent's app. Sharing that code with your child's device is your consent, as the parent or guardian, for the child to use ReDirect on that device.
An account can be created without an email address. Such accounts are tied to the device that created them: the sign-in credential is stored securely on that device, and we cannot recover the account if the device is lost, erased, or replaced. You can delete your account and all associated data at any time from inside the app.
Reading passages come from public-domain books (Project Gutenberg). Comprehension questions are generated automatically and may occasionally be imperfect; both parents and kids can report any passage or question from inside the app and we review every report.
Do not attempt to break, probe, or overload the service, to access another family's data, or to use the app to harm anyone. We may suspend accounts that do.
ReDirect is provided "as is". App blocking depends on Apple's Screen Time frameworks and on the device staying set up as configured; we do not guarantee that a determined child cannot circumvent it, and we are not responsible for what a child does inside apps they unlock. To the extent permitted by law, our liability for any claim arising from the use of ReDirect is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim.
If these terms materially change, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page and, where appropriate, notify parents in the app. Continuing to use ReDirect after a change means you accept the updated terms.
